Scale to Success 

Are you ready to scale your business in the new year? The Women’s Business Center of Northern Ohio is proud to introduce Scale to Success—a specialized program designed for growth-stage entrepreneurs who are prepared to grow their business.

If your business is generating around $150,000 annually and you’re ready to scale, this program is designed for you. We’ll help you strengthen your financial acumen, build solid documentation practices, and position your business for loan readiness and long-term growth. Throughout the program, you’ll work one-on-one with our team to refine your systems, understand your financial drivers, and implement strategies that support sustainable scaling.

By the end of Scale to Success, you’ll have a clear growth roadmap, stronger financial systems, and the confidence to position your business for funding and long-term success. Our structured, high-touch approach is designed to help you accelerate revenue toward $250,000+ within 2–3 years and put you in the position to hire additional staff.

Program Details

Our program is designed to give you the tools and support you need to scale confidently. The cohort will meet once a month and sessions will alternate between in-person and virtual. Individual sessions with our team are scheduled in between monthly classes.

• Financial Literacy & Documentation Support – Learn how to manage your numbers and keep your records loan-ready.

• Strategic Growth Planning – Build a clear roadmap to reach your next revenue milestone.

• Loan-Readiness Guidance – Position your business to access capital when you need it.

• Connections to Capital & Resources – Expand your network with partners and funding opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria

• Currently generating approximately $150,000 or more in annual revenue.

• Operating as an established business (not a startup) and actively seeking to scale.

• Business must be in Northern Ohio or serve the region.

• Willing to engage in strategic planning, financial documentation, and loan-readiness activities.

• Able to participate in program sessions, advising meetings, and required activities.

• Able to provide current financial statements, tax documents, and other materials as requested for assessment.

• Open to exploring staffing expansion within the next 2–3 years (as applicable to business model).

• Business must be in good standing with the State of Ohio and compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.

Important Dates

• Application Deadline: Monday, January 19 at 12:00 p.m.
   

• Program Schedule: Monthly cohort sessions are held on Tuesdays from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., starting January 27. Sessions will alternate between in-person and virtual, with the first class in-person.
