Connecting with customers online is more important now than ever

The Digital Connect program is designed to help entrepreneurs expand their customer base and services by strengthening their online presence.  To help more entrepreneurs in the Cleveland and Toledo metro areas adapt to the ever-changing business landscape, the Women’s Business Center of Northern Ohio and Huntington Bank developed  Northern Ohio Digital Connect.

 

You’ll be guided through strategies and tactics to grow your online connection with customers and maximize the value of your digital communication channels. 

 

Upon complete the program, graduates will have an understanding of:

  • The basics of branding, slogans and logo

  • How to create and manage their own website through Wix

  • Graphic design basics from Canva

  • Social media best practices 

 

In addition, one-on-one advising will be offered to each participant, to be scheduled with the advisor or consultant between the class schedule. The class will be held virtually, so we ask that applicants have a basic understanding of how to work a computer.

Need equipment for the class? The WBC has resources available to those that need it.

Course Schedule

Participants will meet Wednesdays from 5:30 - 7:00p.m. through Zoom.

  • Week 1: Orientation Week - Computer, Email, Smartphone basics

  • Week 2: Branding/ Logo

  • Week 3:  Photography 101

  • Week 4: Wix Part 1

  • Week 5: Wix Part 2

  • Week 6: Social Media Part 1

  • Week 7: Social Media Part 2

  • Week 8: Wrap up/ Pre-Launch
