Cincinnati and Southern Ohio: class: Budget Management and Debt vs. Credit

Tuesday, Mar 12 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM

Budget Management for Small Businesses – Micah Dickson, Small Business Community Lender, 5th/3rd Bank

A budget must ensure that no more is spent than is available. Learn how to budget and manage your expenses — worksheets, tips, and tools for creating and sticking to your budget. Budget holders immediately assess the impact on the budget when evaluating a contract, purchase order or invoice. In this way, they can determine whether to reject or approve expenses based on current information. Micah Dickson, Small Business Community Lender at 5th/3rd Bank will facilitate this workshop.

Debt/Credit – Delisha Murray, Program Officer, 5th/3rd Bank

This workshop on Debt/Credit will better explain the importance of your debt and credit and how it will affect your business. When building a solid financial foundation, it's important to look at the different types of debt that consume so much of your paycheck. Typically, taxes, credit card bills, and mortgages take up a majority of someone's income. Your credit is more than just the plastic card sitting in your wallet. While credit cards can play a role in establishing your financial record, credit by itself is better defined as a bank's trust in you to repay a loan. Delisha Murray, Program Office will facilitate this workshop at 5th/3rd Bank.
